Rob Getz spoke with director/administrator Lisa Welter with Chickasaw County Public Health and Home Care on updates this month.
Welter restates the budget cuts and restrictions to certain services and home care options. She also touches on Skin Care Prevention, Mental Health Awareness, and School Vaccines for our county school districts.
Lisa also noted a brief topic on a common upswing in cases of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Local businesses and organizations in New Hampton have been printing up shirts and literature on this rising health concern in the community.
For more information on the topics discussed and general questions and information, contact Lisa and her staff at (641) 394-4053 or visit the Chickasaw County Public Health Facebook page.
