A North Iowa-based manufacturer will have a new leader later this year.
Sukup Manufacturing, headquartered in Sheffield, has announced that Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Tom Mangan has been tabbed to take over as the company’s President & CEO.
Mangan joined Sukup in April 2020, when he became the first non-Sukup family executive in the company’s history. As CFO, Mangan leads the finance, IT, and supply chain functions, all of which company officials say have grown and developed greater capabilities under his leadership.
The company says current President & CEO Steve Sukup will begin his transition to the Chairman role this October, with Mangan working alongside Sukup in the coming months to ensure a smooth transition.
Sukup will then transition to co-chairman of the Board alongside Charles Sukup, before ultimately assuming full Chairman duties in 2026.
