Scholarship Applications, Other Deadlines Approaching at Floyd County ISU Extension
Applications for 4-H scholarships through Floyd County ISU Extension are due by this Friday (03.28).
Two scholarships are available to any graduating senior in Floyd County planning to further their education after high school. Forms are available on the Floyd County ISU Extension website and must be submitted to the extension office at 112 North Main Street in Charles City by Friday.
Floyd County Extension also reminds students wanting to show market broilers at this year’s Floyd County Fair that the deadline is Friday, April 4th.
2025 Floyd County Fair ear tags are also now available for pickup at the Floyd County Extension Office now through May 9th. This entails bucket/bottles, prospect/feeder calves, swine, pee wee swine, goats, and sheep. Taggers are also available to borrow.
