National FFA Week 2025 February 15 to 22

National FFA Week 2025 continues through this Saturday (02.22).

New Hampton FFA Chapter President Jake McDonald invited the public to join in the celebration.

The New Hampton FFA is also conducting a canned food drive this week that will benefit the Pride Pantry, which makes food available to those in need in the lobby at New Hampton High School.

McDonald says their chapter came into FFA Week on a high note.

Eichenberger will interview for District VP at the District FFA Convention in March. At the State Leadership Conference in April, members Caleb Utley, Carrie Schwickerath, Beth Pickar and Aleah Eichenberger will receive their Iowa FFA Degrees.

The Charles City FFA Chapter will have 14 students receive Iowa FFA Degrees including Trevor Carolan, Jackson Ruzicka, Anya Ruzicka, Xavier Scott, Abby Assink, Everett Schmitt, Alex Wright, Dillan Dight, Payton Hadley, Jordan Ritter, Isabelle Vance, Brayden Ellis, Quinn Heidebrink, and Kylie Blunt.

Madi Crooks could be a future Iowa FFA Degree recipient, with the Charles City sophomore already on the Chapter’s leadership team.

The NIACC School of Agriculture is also saluting its area partner FFA chapters, noting “FFA is more than blue jackets—it’s about leadership, hands-on learning, and preparing the next generation of agricultural professionals. From agronomy and livestock management to precision ag and agribusiness, we see firsthand how FFA students bring their passion and skills into our programs.”
