Charles City Rotary Radio Auction Hits Fundraising All-Time High

Another Charles City Rotary Radio Auction is in the books, the record books according to coordinator Tammy Elthon.
Elthon adds that fundraising from Saturday’s (02.01) event also helps the grand total over the years continue to add up.
For the fourth year in a row, proceeds from sales will once again be split between regular Rotary projects and a local, Charles City non-profit organization, with this year’s partner the Floyd County Museum.
Past beneficiaries include Paws Humane Society, which received about $3,500 from the 2024 auction; Central Pre-School, recipients of almost $3,300 in 2023; and, with the aid of a last-minute “tip,” around $3,800 went to TLC childcare center in 2022.
