It’s only appropriate that an organization that specializes in cabins is involved with Cabin Fever Weekend in and round Charles City.
Floyd County Conservation events include “Women in the Woods with Wine” and “Co-ed Jeopardy” from 7 to 9 Thursday (01.30) night at the Tosanak Recreation Area near Marble Rock.
Naturalist Heidi Reams says they have two more activities this weekend.
The Owl Hike begins at 6pm Saturday (02.01) at Tosanak while the Bird Feeder Palooza starts at 1 pm Sunday (02.02) at the Prairie and Fossil Center near Rockford, where Reams says your fee can be paid at the event. Pre-registration is encouraged.

Reams says its never too early to make your cabin and camping rentals and reservations, which can also be done on the MyCountyParks website.
