New Hampton Police Investigate Death of Elderly Male

New Hampton Police are investigating the death of an elderly male.
Police Chief Conrad Rosendahl says the unidentified man was found deceased on Sunday (10.20) morning on a property owned by Canadian Pacific Railroad. However, the body was not on the tracks. The man is suspected to have Alzheimer’s disease and possibly dementia.
Rosendahl adds that the officer who investigated the discovery does not believe that there was any foul play associated with the man’s death and the public should not be concerned.
The body has been sent to the Iowa State Medical Examiners for an Autopsy to determine his actual cause of death.
