Voting Reminders with Election Day Two Weeks from Tuesday (Oct. 22)

Pre-registered voters are required to provide an approved form of identification at the polling place before receiving and casting a regular ballot. The deadline to pre-register to vote is Monday, October 21, 5 p.m.  

The deadline to request an absentee ballot to be mailed is Monday, October 21, 5 p.m.

In-person absentee voting is available Mondays through Fridays in the auditor’s office from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. starting October 16, although some county auditors will offer extended hours (example: Floyd County extended hours until 5 p.m. on October 21 and November 1 and Saturday, November 2 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.)

All polls will be open on Election Day (Nov. 5) from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.  

Note: Chickasaw County Auditor’s Office says 131 voters cast ballots on last Wednesday’s  (10.16) first day of in-person voting.
