Chickasaw County Conservation’s annual Halloween Hike is this Tuesday (10.15) at the Twin Ponds Nature Center, southeast of Ionia.
That’s Naturalist Matt Crayne, who invites area elementary-aged children to join in the non-scary nature walk.
Hikes will depart Tuesday evening at 6 pm, 6:15 pm, 6:30 pm and 6:45 pm.
Crayne adds that while the event is free, there is a limit to about 25 people per hike. So, you’re advised to reserve your hike time slot by calling 641-394-4714.
Crayne says there will also be treats and refreshments provided by New Hampton 8th grade students after your hike.
