New Hampton Schools Superintendent Jurrens Leaving Post

The New Hampton School District is in the market for a new Superintendent.

During Monday (09.16)  night’s School Board meeting, it was announced that Superintendent Jay Jurrens had submitted his resignation. Jurrens said he feels good about the current condition of the school district.

Jurrens resignation also impacts the Turkey Valley School District, with him being the shared superintendent of both schools the past few years.

His replacement would likely take over July 1, 2025.
