The Lions Field Pool in Charles City will close for the season this Sunday (08.11) at 4:30 pm, but the swimming won’t end at that time.
PAWs Humane Society’s Jacie Peichel says they’re preparing for the annual “PAWS Plunge” dog swim from 5 to 6:30 pm Sunday.
Peichel says proceeds from the swim go towards the purchase of general supplies including paper towels and cleaning products as well as pet treats and toys.
