Rainfall, Flooding Leads to Mosquitoes Problem for North Iowans
If you feel like this summer “bites” at times, you’ve likely had a run in with mosquitoes, thanks to wet spring and summer.
That’s Chickasaw County Public Health Administrator Lisa Welter, who says there are a variety of ways to give you a barrier to mosquitoes.
Welter says protecting yourself against mosquito bites also helps protect others as well from spreading diseases the pests might carry.
