It’s a chance to “dunk a deputy” Wednesday (07.17) night at the Floyd County Fair.
The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a fundraiser for their K9 Unit from 5 to 7 pm, serving hamburgers, hot dogs and brats for a free will donation. Proceeds go to the K9 Sirius fund, with Sirius plush toys also available for purchase.
There’s also a chance to dunk Sheriff Jeff Crooks and his Deputies at the dunk tank.
Floyd County Fair grandstand entertainment begins Thursday (07.18) night with Figure 8 Races. Friday (07.19) night it’s Tuff Trucks and Saturday (07.20) night it’s the Demo Derby with the Kids Power Wheel Division. All start at 7 pm.
Entertainment also includes live music concerts on the Midway Band Shell with Viva Knievel from 7:30 to 11 Friday night and Flatland Ridge from 8 to 11 pm Saturday night.
