Heartland Days Continue Saturday (06.08) in New Hampton

Heartland Days festivities began Friday (06.07) night in New Hampton with the parade. Activities then shifted to Mikkelson Park with live music from the Pork Tornadoes and fireworks at dusk.

There’s a full slate of activities Saturday (06.08), including the dedication of a bench in honor of longtime Heartland Days supporter and volunteer, Penny Corbitt, who passed away earlier this year.

That’s New Horizons Chamber Executive Director Liz Zweibohmer, who says most festivities remain free of charge as Heartland Days marks its 30th year.

Saturday also sees the return of Baconfest and live music from IV Play starting at 8 pm.
