100th Dairy Days Celebration Underway in Fredericksburg

The 100th edition of Dairy Days in Fredericksburg got underway Wednesday (05.29) night and, for the second straight year, the celebration will extend into the weekend.

Dairy Days’ Jada Dix says festivities include not one, but two parades, including a special treat following the Friday (05.31) morning parade.

Friday night’s parade starts at 7 pm, followed by live music from the Cowtippers at the beer garden.

Saturday (06.01) entertainment includes comedian Tyler Walsh from 5 to 6 pm at the beer garden followed by live music with Cody Hicks Dix from 6:30 to 9:30 pm and fireworks at 10 pm.

There are also carnival games and midway amusement rides throughout the celebration.
