Charles City Farmers Market Readies for First Wednesday (05.08)

The Charles City Farmers Market first Wednesday session of the 2024 season is this Wednesday (05.08) in Central Park along Blunt Street.

Chamber Director Mark Wicks says local fresh produce, baked goods, honey, and crafts will be for sale between 3:30 and 6 pm. He says it’s a great opportunity to try foods you might not be used to.

With the Farmers Market also open Saturday mornings from 9 to noon, Wicks says it’s a great place to get flowers for Mother’s Day, which is this Sunday (05.12). 

And, there’s always room for more vendors.
