New Hampton High School to Add Girls Varsity Soccer Team

After several seasons of having a co-ed varsity soccer team, New Hampton High School is set to split the squads into separate boys and girls teams.

During Monday (01.15) night’s School Board meeting, Superintendent Jay Jurrens said the numbers of girls players can now support its own team.

The School Board voted unanimously to add a girls soccer team, which Boys/co-ed head coach Jeff Montieth says the plan is to have them begin play this spring.
