Rob Getz spoke with New Hampton FFA Chapter recorder Karla Pickar on Greenhand and Chapter Officer applications, the prestigious Iowa Degree and Proficiency apps for students, a look at FFA week next month, and prep for LDE events.

Karla also would like to relay to students and FFA alumni the following event:

January 30th: Iowa Legislative Symposium

• Capitol Building in Des Moines

• A couple hundred FFA Members from across the state attend

• designed to build

  • Character, promote citizenship,

  • volunteerism

  • Patriotism

• learn about the legislative process, discuss agricultural issues, and advocate for Agricultural Education and FFA.
