One Person Killed, Another Airlifted to Hospital After Northeast Iowa UTV Crash

One person is dead and another was airlifted to a hospital after a UTV crash in northeast Iowa early Friday (12.15) morning.
According to a report from the Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office, the dispatch center received the call just after 12 a.m. that a UTV traveling along Houlihan Drive had lost control on a curve, entered the ditch and rolled.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger was airlifted to Gunderson Hospital in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
The names of those involved are not being released pending notification of family.
The Allamakee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. Harpers Ferry Fire and Rescue, Waterville Ambulance, and Veterans Memorial Hospital Ambulance also assisted at the scene.
