Presidential Hopeful Ramaswamy to Tour Northeast Iowa Thursday

Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy is scheduled to make stops in northeast Iowa Thursday (12.07).

An entrepreneur who founded a pharmaceutical company, Ramaswamy will host a Howard County town hall gathering starting at 12:15 pm Thursday at Fat T’s in Cresco. Then it’s on to Chickasaw County for a town hall at 2 pm at Klunder’s Kafe in New Hampton.

Ramaswamy will round out his tour Thursday in Floyd County with a town hall at 3:30 pm at Pizza Ranch in Charles City.

Before he comes to Iowa, Ramaswamy faced fellow Republican hopefuls Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis and Chris Christie in a debate Wednesday (12.06) night in Alabama. Former President Donald Trump skipped the political forum, slated to be the final debate in advance of the January caucuses.
