Charles City Cares hosts their annual community Thanksgiving dinner Thursday (11.23) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
That’s CC Cares Kim Watkins, who says they expect to serve upwards of 500 people for the event.Â
Those taking advantage of the free meal, which also includes a dessert, can enjoy sitdown dining at the church.
Takeouts and deliveries for up to five meals per household are also available by calling 641-220-6241.Â
