Presidential Hopeful DeSantis Stops in Charles City

Republican presidential hopeful, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, spoke to about 50 supporters Sunday (11.19) afternoon in Charles City.
He was introduced at the rally at The Pub on the Cedar by Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds, who said DeSantis has done “the full Grassley†by visiting all 99 counties in Iowa.
DeSantis told the crowd that, if elected President, his experience as a veterans mean he’ll know how to “complete the mission†in leading a revival of the country.
After his formal speech, DeSantis fielded questions from the audience on border safety, China, the opioid crisis, and how he would bring a divided country together.
Earlier in the day, DeSantis attended the 10:30 am Sunday woship service at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.
