Renovations for the emergency and radiology departments at Floyd County Medical Center (FCMC) in Charles City have been completed.
FCMC CEO Dawnette Willis says the ER now has a dedicated outdoor public entrance along with enhanced features inside.
Willis says a new MRI machine has been installed INSIDE the radiology department.
Willis adds that the new MRI also delivers more patient comfort.
FCMC has also added a CT scan in radiology along with Diagnostic Radiology Specialist, Dr. Ryan Smith, who joined the staff this past summer.
Willis invites the public to see the FCMC renovations and new equipment during an Open House from 4 to 6 pm on November 9th.
