It’s the Big 4 Fair this weekend in Nashua.
Chickasaw County Fair Queen Tori Bearman will be making appearances at various events Friday (09.01) through Monday (09.04). She says becoming Fair Queen wasn’t something she was sure about trying.
Bearman, also President of the New Hampton FFA Chapter, says this year’s Big 4 Fair features a pair of raffles with proceeds going towards building a new beef barn on the fairgrounds.
You need not be present to win either raffle.
Grandstand entertainment includes the New Hampton Charity Pullers Truck and Tractor Pull at 6:30 pm Friday (09.01) night and Figure 8 Car Races at 6:30 pm Saturday (09.02) night. Sunday (09.03) festivities include Tough Truck Races at 1 pm and Bulls and Barrels at 7 pm. On Monday (09.04), it’s Turn and Burn Racing at 11 am. There’s also the Labor Day Classic Livestock Cattle Show on Monday at noon.
