Landlords (and renters) can take advantage of a special program Thursday (08.24) evening in Charles City.
The Charles City Housing Task Force will host Brad Hanes of Iowa Real Estate Seminars from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at the Charles City Public Library Zastrow Room. Dean Stewart, with event co-sponsor Stewart Realty, says Hanes is a career real estate professional with an extensive background in all aspects of the industry.
Stewart says Hanes will discuss ins and outs of residential property management, including Chapter 562A Uniform Residential Landlord and Tenant Law.
Emily Garden, with the Charles City Housing Taskforce, says they also hope to improve the landlord-tenant relationship, which is vital given Charles City’s current low availability of rental properties.
There is no cost to attend the seminar and is also open to anyone outside of Charles City.
