Just over a month after old playground equipment was removed from New Hampton’s Runion Park, the new Kindness Square Inclusive Playground is ready to take real shape.
Crews have been working since late June to prep the site just west of MercyOne Medical Center and Park-Rec Director Tara Hackman says the new playground equipment is scheduled to start arriving Friday (08.04), with the first shipment coming around 10 am. It’ll signal the start of a full makeover of the old playground site.
Hackman says the project is expected to be finished sometime in October.
