Charles City Housing Taskforce to Host Real Estate Expert

The Charles City Housing Taskforce will host a real estate expert next month, with a focus on rental properties.

Taskforce co-chair Emily Garden says Brad Hanes of Iowa Real Estate Seminars will be the featured presenter from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm on August 24th at the Charles City Public Library Zastrow Room. Hanes is a career real estate professional with an extensive background in all aspects of the real estate industry who has developed over 100 courses and seminars. 

His Charles City presentation, sponsored by Stewart Realty Company, will cover residential property management, including Chapter 562A Uniform Residential Landlord and Tenant Law; duties of property managers; rights and obligations of parties to a lease; landlord and tenant obligations; avoiding bad tenants; eviction; landlord liability; and landlord and tenant remedies.
