Registration Still Open for Charles City Independence Day Parade 

Registration is still open for the 2023 Independence Day Parade in Charles City.

The parade will head through downtown Charles City starting at 10:30 am on Tuesday, July 4th. Online sign-up is available under “Chamber Events” at  www.charlescitychamber.com. Registration fee is $12 for up to two vehicles or a vehicle and a trailer through Monday, June 26th. Additional vehicles can be added for $6 each. 

Non-profit organizations can enter 1-2 vehicles at no cost if registered by June 26th. After June 26th, entry fee is $20 for all registrants, with the extra vehicle fee still applying. 

Day-of registrations will also be accepted at the parade sign-in on Cleveland Street July 4th between 8 and 9:30 am with exact change requested for the $20 entry fee (no charge cards). Day-of entries will automatically be assigned to the rear of the parade lineup.
