It’s Irish Fest this weekend in Lawler.
Festivities include the Kickoff Party at 6 p.m. Friday night and continue throughout the day on Saturday.Â
Ben Larson with Lawler Irish Fest says the family-fun weekend includes a variety of Irish bands and music acts, plus the cover band, Birdchild, Saturday night. The parade begins at 1 pm Saturday and there will be outdoor movies at dusk both nights (Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on Friday, June 16 and The Super Mario Brothers on Sat. June 17) in Croell Park.
Larson says they can always use more volunteers and donations to help Irish Fest continue to serve Lawler.
Norma Hackman says donations will also be accepted from noon to four Saturday afternoon for the Chickasaw County Relay for Life quilt raffle.
