The New Hampton Trapshooting Fundraising Banquet is set for this Friday (06.02) night at the New Hampton Country Club.
Organizer Mindy Humpal says proceeds from the event will help cover costs for team members.
Humpal says the popularity of the sport is evident in New Hampton’s participation level, going from nine shooters at the state meet about 20 years ago to 47 shooters going to state next week. But, with the increase in popularity comes increased expenses.
Humpal says Friday’s fundraiser begins at 5 pm with dinner at 6:30 pm. There will also be live and silent auctions, games and raffles as well as recognition of the senior shooters.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at Office World in New Hampton.
