Over three-and-a-half years after the initial investigation began, a north Iowa man has been arrested on charges he sexually abused three children while working at a Franklin County daycare.
26-year-old Benjamin Green of Hampton was taken into custody Friday (05.19) on three counts of second-degree sexual abuse, all Class B felonies. Green is alleged to have committed the abuses at Hampton Community Christian Daycare, where he worked for at least six years up until February of 2020.
According to court documents, the Hampton Police Department was first alerted to Green’s possible actions against one boy and two girls in September of 2019 and the abuse may have started as early as 2014.
Green is being held in the Hardin County Jail on $100,000 cash or surety bond.
