Kids Stuffed Animal Sleep Over
Wednesday, April 26, 2023

Drop your stuffed animal off at the library any time before 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 and pick them up from
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. the next day. Please send a small blanket with your stuffed animal. And only bring a stuffed animal
you can sleep without! Stuffed animals will enjoy story time, snacks, games and movies (sleep is optional).
STUFFED ANIMALS ONLY will stay the night at the library with the librarian. Party Animals Welcome!

Mobile History Museum
April 24, 2023 thru April 29, 2023

Iowa History 101: People and Places” showcases nearly 50 artifacts from the State Historical Society of Iowa to
share our state’s remarkable past, from the Native Americans who first settled here to an astronaut who flew into
space. Join us all week long and tour the Mobile History Museum during open library hours. It will be parked
outside of the library for all to tour and see! Make plans to visit the library and this amazing addition for the week.

PBS Kids – STEAM Trailer
April 24, 2023 – April 29, 2023

A trailer full of interactive, hands-on STEAM-based activities that will spark curiosity in every child. The STEAM
trailer travels to communities throughout the state, often in conjunction with area libraries. We will have activities
out of the STEAM trailer on display for you to explore and play with inside the library. If weather permits some of
the activities will be outside during open library hours. Make plans to join us at the library to play and learn!

Movie Matinee – Minions – the rise of Gru
Saturday, April 29, 2023 – 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

We will be showing Minions- the rise of Gru for our movie matinee. Minions- the rise of Gru is rated PG and is 1 hour 30
minutes long. Popcorn, snacks and drinks will be provided. In the 1970s, young Gru tries to join a group of supervillains
called the Vicious 6 after they oust their leader — the legendary fighter Wild Knuckles. Join us as we watch this

movie and you can meet and have your picture with one of the Minions!
**PBS KIDS STEAM TRAILER & MOBILE MUSEUM will be open during
open library hours with the exception of during the Movie Matinee.
FACEBOOK DAILY TRIVIA CONTEST!
There will be a trivia question posted on Facebook each morning on

Mon. April 24, Tues. April 25, Wed. April 26, Thurs. April 27 and Sat. April 29. There will be a winner
each day, the winner will be notified through Facebook and must be able to pick up their prize at the library.

The winner will be the first person with the correct answer each day.
