Chickasaw County Conservation is hosting a wood burning class this Thursday (04.13) at 6 pm at the Twin Ponds Nature Center between New Hampton and Ionia.
Naturalist Matt Crayne says it’s an opportunity to create your own work of art.
The program is free, but pre-registration is recommended by calling 641-394-4714.
With a taste of summer weather this week, you might be thinking of spending some time on the water. Crayne says they’ve already got plans for a pair of floats on the Cedar River.
Crayne also notes that 2023 also marks the 20th year for the Twin Ponds Nature Center. Watch for special events on the Chickasaw County Conservation and Twin Ponds Nature Center Facebook page.
