The Floyd County Medical Center (FCMC) Clinic was struck last week by a truck.
The Charles City Police Department says the collision occurred shortly before 9:30 am Wednesday (03.29) morning in the 1500 block of South Main Street. The driver of a Ford Maverick pickup ran into the building after she accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal.
The Charles City driver was uninjured and damages to the truck and the clinic were estimated at a combined $10,000.
