Hawkeye Volunteer Fire Annual Omelet Breakfast Sunday

The Hawkeye Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association will host their annual Omelet Breakfast this weekend.

Firefighter Bruce Mitchell says the meal will include omelets, hash browns, toast, roll, fruit, juice, coffee and milk, with serving Sunday (03.26) from 8 am to 1 pm at the Community Hall in Hawkeye.

A $10 donation is suggested, with kids six and under eating for free. Proceeds will go towards payment of the new rescue truck the department purchased last year.

Mitchell adds that this is a big year for the Hawkeye firefighters.

Mitchell says they will also host a street dance that night.
