Camping Reservations Steady In Floyd County, Apps Due Friday (03.03) in Chickasaw County
With the calendar turning to March, it brings camping enthusiasts to thoughts of spending more time outdoors in the coming months.
However, Heidi Reams, Naturalist with Floyd County Conservation, advises not waiting too long to make your site reservations.
Reams says reservations can be made through www.mycountyparks.com, where you can also find campsite details.
In Chickasaw County, applications for seasonal campsites at Airport Lake Park campground, northwest of New Hampton, are due by noon this Friday, March 3rd. Rental sites for May 1st to September 30th will be awarded following the conservation board meeting to be held Monday, March 6th.
