Fundraiser Saturday (02.25)for New Hampton’s Kindness Square Inclusive Playground

The “Vision 2 Reality Benefit” this weekend will raise funds for “Kindness Square,” New Hampton’s Inclusive Playground Project.

Kayla Brown and Brittany Phillips are organizers for the festivities at the Waucoma Event Center Saturday evening. Phillips says she and Brown have a personal connection to building the all-inclusive playground.

Brown says they’ve raised about $330,000 of the $350,000 needed for the playground equipment.

Brown says the project won’t be complete with just the installation of the playground equipment.

The playground is projected to be built and open by late summer in New Hampton’s Runion Park.

Saturday (02.25) night’s benefit includes a free will donation meal and the silent auction starting at 4 pm, with a presentation and live auction to follow at 6:30 pm. There will also be quilt raffles, 50-50 cash raffles and big item raffles.

More information can be found on the Kindness Square Inclusive Playground Facebook page.
