Charles City Public Library to Reopen by Friday

The closure of the Charles City Public Library could come to an end later this week.

The library has been closed since February 7th while new tile flooring is installed in the lobby.  The children’s room in the Gallery is also getting a new coat of paint.

Library Director Annette Dean says the hope is to have the library back open by this Friday. In the meantime, she says books are still available for check out.

Dean advises patrons to watch their Facebook page and website for updates on library operations during the flooring project, which was made possible by a grant from the Andres Memorial Trust Foundation.

Call the Charles City Public Library at 641-257-6319 with any questions.
