Third Arrest Made in Northeast Iowa Prostitution Investigation

A third arrest has been made in a northeast Iowa prostitution investigation.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office arrested 52-year-old Trent Fitzpatrick of Oelwein on January 24th, charging him with pimping, a Class D felony. According to court documents, Fitzpatrick received a “predetermined amount of cash for driving two female prostitutes” to a residence in Fort Atkinson.

The sheriff’s office said that as a result of Fitzpatrick’s arrest, several subsequent search warrants would be executed. Tuesday (Jan. 31), they announced the arrest of 29-year-old Nicole Burgos, also of Oelwein, on two counts of aggravated misdemeanor prostitution. 

Thursday (Feb. 2), the sheriff’s office said 38-year-old Ashley Rochford, also of Oelwein, was arrested and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail on an arrest warrant for two counts of aggravated misdemeanor prostitution, also from the incidents on January 24th. 

Authorities add that this remains an active and ongoing investigation with additional arrests/charges forthcoming.

Fitzpatrick was released from the Winneshiek County Jail Tuesday (01.31) after posting his $5,000 bail.
