Iowa Wrestling Legend Gable Addresses Charles City Area Farmers

Iowa wrestling legend Dan Gable was in Charles City recently to speak to farmers and ag business leaders.

Gable was one of the featured speakers for Viafield’s Winter Ag Expo December 8 at the Floyd County Fairgrounds. He said farming can be like wrestling with the singular efforts it takes to win on the mat and in the field.

Gable added farming and wrestling also both take dedication to get the job done.

Gable also told the crowd he tries to do something every day to rejuvenate himself and encouraged farmers to do the same.
