County Auditor Offices Offer Saturday Voting Hours in Advance of November General Election

County auditor offices are offering extended in-person voting hours in the final days prior to the November General Election this Tuesday.

Auditors offices in Floyd, Chickasaw and Mitchell counties will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and all three will open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for voters to cast absentee ballots. The final day to vote absentee in-person is this Monday, with each office open during their normal hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

If you had an absentee ballot mailed to you, Mitchell County Auditor Rachel Foster reminds voters that those ballots must be returned to your county auditor’s office no later than this Tuesday.

All in-person voting on Tuesday must be done at your assigned precinct and Floyd County Auditor Gloria Carr says remember to bring identification when you vote.

Polls in all counties across the state will be open Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
