“Don’t Quit Your Day Job” Big Band to Perform Sunday in New Hampton

After a three-year hiatus, the “Don’t Quit Your Day Job” community band returns to perform Sunday night in New Hampton. 

That’s new bandleader, Justin Adam, who’s also the band director for New Hampton High School. He takes over from long time director Gary Griffin, but says Griffin’s influence will still be heard with a special musical number.

Adam says blues will be the main focus of this week’s show which starts at 7 p.m. Sunday at the bandshell at Mikkelson Park. Rain location is the New Hampton Elementary Auditorium.
