West Union Continues RAGBRAI Preparations, T-Shirts in the Works

West Union continues to prepare to host RAGBRAI for the final overnight stay on this year’s route on Friday, July 29th.

The theme for RAGBRAI in West Union is “It’s All Downhill from Here,” a tongue-in-cheek nod to the uphill climbs riders will face when they leave town the next morning on their way to Lansing, the final destination for this year’s ride.

Tiffany Johansen, Secretary & Executive Chair #3 for the West Union RAGBRAI planning committee, says t-shirts for the event are coming.

RFPs to produce West Union’s RAGBRAI t-shirts are due this Sunday.

Johansen says people can now sign up to host riders with a link available on their RAGBRAI West Union Facebook page, where regular updates can be found. She adds that RAGBRAI also has a section on their website dedicated to the West Union overnight stay, all making for easier access to information for the public.

Johansen says more volunteers are also still needed.
