New Hampton, Nashua-Plainfield Homecoming 2022 Festivities Continue

Homecoming Week 2022 festivities continue for New Hampton and Nashua-Plainfield.

The New Hampton Homecoming parade and king coronation begin at 7 p.m. Thursday night, with the queen coronation occurring at halftime of Friday night’s Chickasaws football game against Garner-Hayfield-Ventura. The homecoming dance starts at 8 p.m. Saturday night at the VFW Hall in New Hampton. 

The Chickasaws 2022 Homecoming Court includes queen candidates Mallory Cleveland, Campbelle Kolbet, Carlee Rochford, Alivya Wisner and Kelli Jirak. King candidates are Isaac Howe, Brady Speltz, Ben Tenge, Carter Steinlage, and PJ Anderson. The homecoming theme is “Back to the Future.”

Nashua-Plainfield, with a theme of “Wipe Out the Redhawks,” will crown their Homecoming king and queen during coronation at 7 p.m. Thursday at the football field. The Huskies 2022 Homecoming Court includes queen candidates Bailey Fisher, Kendall Bailey-Pint, Paige Ripley, Autumn Nelson and Beatrice Marchio. King candidates are Aiden Lamborn, Landon Pratt, Kendrick Huck, Bo Harrington and Luca Mueller.

Nashua-Plainfield Homecoming activities continue Friday with the pep assembly at 2 p.m. in the high school gym, followed by the parade at 2:30 p.m. and the football game at 7 p.m. against the North Tama Redhawks. The homecoming dance is from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday night at the high school.

Charles City’s Homecoming is next week with a theme of “Back in Orange and Black.” Festivities start Sunday evening with a bonfire and $5 meal at the Elks Lodge followed by a 7:30 p.m. per rally.
