New Hampton Family Meets with Senator Grassley During Washington, D.C. Visit

A New Hampton family met with Iowa U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) during their vacation to Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, July 27.

 The Rauschs, Ryan, Heather, Reid and Kye, spoke with Grassley about his favorite presidents and his priorities while serving in the U.S. Senate. Grassley also discussed his bipartisan legislation, the Cattle Price Discovery and Transparency Act.

 While in the nation’s capital, Grassley sets aside two hours each day to meet with Iowans. He also  encourages Iowans to write him or visit one of his offices regarding questions or concerns they have with the federal government, which can also be done during his annual visits to each of the state’s 99 counties.
