Main Street Charles City Conducting Surveys for Business Development Strategies

The public’s assistance is being requested for two online surveys launched June 1st designed to assist Charles City officials with local business development and retention. 

Both surveys are part of a market study and strategies process being conducted by Main Street Charles City, with the assistance of state staff at Main Street Iowa. 

The general public is encouraged to participate in the Consumer Survey to provide input on shopping and dining options they enjoy and take advantage of in Charles City, as well as what’s not currently offered that they would like to have.

Local business owners and managers are being asked to assist Main Street Charles City in benchmarking and tracking economic conditions in downtown Charles City in a separate survey.

Each survey should take 5 minutes or less to complete, and all submitted business or personal information is confidential. The survey will run from June 1-15, and be followed up with a public presentation of the results on July 12th.
