STEAM Day – Rubber Band Rollers

The library was awarded a STEM cart from the Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council. It is full of amazing things to help kids explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. At their first event they will be building Rubber Band Rollers and competing to see whose goes farthest. Since there are lots of tools and many small pieces they will enforce an age minimum of 9 years old or older to participate. Younger family members may explore the children’s room where there are tons of age appropriate STEM activities. Come check out our cart! It’s amazing!
