Join us for a program examining what it was like to be a frontiersperson in Floyd County! With Mckenna Lloyd, director of the Floyd County Museum, we’ll look at the demographics of early settlers, what the land looked like when they arrived, and the origins of Charles City as a thriving town. The program will have a special focus on women’s roles in early Charles City. Loosely ties in with the My Ántonia book discussion held later this June.
