Charles City Lottery Prize Winner Identified
The winner of almost $10,000 with an Iowa Lottery scratch game ticket purchased in Charles City almost three weeks ago has been identified.
An Iowa Lottery Facebook post on April 10th said “Somebody just won a prize of $9,427.55! They bought a Fat Wallet Progressive InstaPlay ticket at Casey’s at 4th & Grand.”
Lottery officials say Virginia Griga of Charles City claimed the InstaPlay prize April 14th at the Iowa Lottery’s regional office in Mason City.
Meanwhile, an Iowa Lottery Facebook post Wednesday (04.30) said someone bought a Big Money Doubler Progressive InstaPlay ticket at SWARM Sports Bar & Liquor Store in Sumner and won a prize of almost $7,500.
Other area winners during April included:
Peg Kaslket of Leland, who won almost $34,000 with a “Big Money Doubler Progressive” InstaPlay ticket she purchased at Kwik Star in Forest City.
Jeff and Mary Gann of Dunkerton, who won a $30,000 prize with their Lucky Stars scratch ticket purchased at Kwik Star in Dunkerton.
Sheila Reich of St. Ansgar, who won a $50,000 top prize on a PAC-MAN™ ticket she bought at Casey’s in St. Ansgar.
Brett Sersland of Decorah, who won a $50,000 top prize on a Joker’s Wild scratch ticket bought at Kwik Star in Waukon.
