The identities of the subject or subjects who vandalized a bridge guardrail over a creek about 10 miles north of New Hampton remains a mystery.
Chickasaw County Engineer Roman Lensing says the damage was caused some time on Saturday, September 17th on 140th Street between Ivanhoe and Jasper avenues.
Lensing said damages were about $5,000 and the guardrail has since been fixed.
Chickasaw County Sheriff Marty Hemann says a deputy made an investigation into the incident, but as of Monday (09.26) they had not identified any people and/or vehicles responsible.
